I do not paint the ideas of others. When I refer to a "commission", I mean for you to purchase one of my paintings in advance.
I will certainly consider what you like about my work. For instance, if you tell me you'd like something like my "MICROBIA" paintings, or something I can interpret, like "a garden" or "a picture about war", this I am very happy to do. We can discuss your likes and dislikes.
What I can not do is paint your visions. These are your visions, and I can never bring them to life as you see them.

I BUILD A CUSTOM SHIPPING BOX FOR EACH PAINTING I SHIP. THESE

I create each print myself with plenty of TLC. The same level of perfectionism I employ with my originals is put into my prints.
I paint the edges so you can hang them without a frame, I carefully varnish each piece with my own special mix of gloss and semi-gloss varnish, and of course, I sign and number each one individually.
Giclee Prints are available at the bottom of most
gallery pages. I can create large perfect prints in my studio using
the Epson 7800 archival inkjet printer.
EXAMPLE: This is the back side of one of my mounted prints.
I have sold over 1,000 of my hand painted Giclee prints in the past 6 years. I have never had one returned.
ALTHOUGH, I do guarantee that you will be completely overjoyed with your print, or I will refund your purchase price!

When
you win, purchase or commission a painting from me, you will receive
a certificate of authenticity such as the one shown below. The title
will, of course, be transferred into your name upon completion of our
transaction. You will receive the certificate containing the identifying
certificate number. This number is unique to your work of art. You will
have access to the Fine Arts Registry website where you will find full
details of the painting and a photograph of the piece. You will be the
named owner of the painting on the certificate and at the website. There
are many more details about this painting at the registration company.
This is good for insurance purposes and establishing ownership and value*.

* Most insurance companies will not pay the current value but an amount
closer to the cost of raw materials – unless you could prove the
higher value. Yet the disaster that took your art could easily claim
your receipts or other documentation as well. Register your fine art
with National Fine Arts Title Registry and your asset records that document
value and ownership remain safe and available from any computer. Your
online records can include a photo and supporting documents to permanently
capture details for provenance, estate planning and asset statements.

~ CUSTOM GICLEE PRINTS ~
Every one of my hand painted mounted limited edition
Giclee's is a UNIQUE piece of art, and almost always mistaken for
an original painting.
I make each one myself. I also pack them myself in
custom mailing boxes, which I build.
I stretch the canvas prints on stretcher bars. I paint
the edges with the same paint and colors I used on the original.
I then varnish each piece with a UV protectant 'semi-gloss/matte'
custom mixture.
During this process I give each print my Tender Loving
Care. These Prints are not mass produced.
Each Giclee print is expected to last without any
visible fading for 100 years depending upon handling.
